How to Prepare Your Quilt
Machine quilting a well-made quilt top sure is a joy to quilt. Please follow these intstructions before sending me your quilt top and everything will run just as smooth as silk.
- Iron your quilt top
- Quilt tops and backings should be squared up and trimmed.
- Remove Loose threads or pet hair from the quilt top
- Make sure that all the seams are secure
- If you are supplying your own backing or batting make sure they are 8 inches longer and wider than the quilt top.
- Do not add embellishments until after it's quilted.
